Can I watch Il Globo TV while travelling abroad?
Last updated: June 12, 2026
Channel line-ups and pricing are tied to the country where your subscription was created, because broadcasters license each channel per territory. When you travel, the service generally keeps working, but with some limits.
- Short trips within the same region usually work normally — for example an Australian subscriber visiting New Zealand.
- Travelling to a different region (say a USA subscriber going to Argentina) can make some channels unavailable for the trip. On-demand content is more likely to keep working than live channels.
- VPNs are not supported and may stop playback entirely, because licensing checks detect mismatched locations.
If you need to watch from another country for an extended period, email support@ilglobo.com before you travel — in some cases the account region can be updated, with pricing adjusted to that region.
