A channel shows a blank or black screen

If a channel shows a black or blank screen, it usually means the programme scheduled for that time has been withheld by the broadcaster because the rights aren't available for your region. This happens from time to time, particularly for sporting events where the partner doesn't hold the rights to broadcast outside Italy.
